7 Ways to Establish Instant Authority Status:

Part 2: Target content to where your audience

           goes to on-line for solutions

We all have a vast amount of information to digest, including our customers and prospects. There also is an army of self-proclaimed experts and we often find it difficult to figure out who is an expert and who isn’t. Writing an article and having it submitted on-line is easy in today’s web world. Even 10 year olds are doing it! So, you need to go beyond just submitting your articles to article directory sites where anyone (including kids) can get published. You need to go to blogs and Social Media industry specific sites that allow you to give input of your ideas. This will help you get past the filters, barriers and defense systems that your audience has put up keep them safe from information overload.

Let me give you an example. I have a background in OSHA and Occupational Safety. I joined an online safety community social media site at www.SafetyCommunityOnline.com. This is industry specific and allows me to share information to a global audience, giving me credibility. I then introduce my local clients to this global network that makes me an expert in their eyes. There are social communities for everything. We just have to find them, or create them, and make our clients and prospects a part of what becomes our global network!
